If you are driving your car to ISB, please note that you will be asked to park outside the ISB campus. There are quite a few community activities scheduled for next week and inside parking is limited. Access to the campus is via North Gate.

If you are coming by taxi, ask to be dropped off at the North Gate. This is the gate closest to the ISB Commons, where you will find the Welcome Desk.

If you are using Didi, please search for “International School of Beijing North Gate ” OR “北京顺义国际学校北门”.

If you are coming on the 2024 ISB CLC Shuttle provided at the Crowne Plaza, please note that the shuttle will leave the hotel at 7:45 AM and will leave ISB at 4:15 PM on Day 1 - November 1st. For Day 2 - November 2nd, the bus will leave the hotel at 7:45 AM and leave ISB at 5:45 PM.

The Welcome Desk is located in the ISB Commons. You will be provided a conference badge which is also your ISB visitor tag. Please wear it at all times while in the building. If you are observed without a nametag, you will be escorted by security to the Security Office and may be asked to leave campus.

Please take a minute to complete the visitor guidelines before the morning of Friday, November 1st. https://survey.isb.cn/visiting. You will receive an email to confirm your registration. The system will also generate a QR code to present to the staff at the ISB CLC Welcome Desk.

A guest WIFI will be created for this event, the network access will be printed on the back of your conference badge.
WIFI CONNECTION

We encourage you to please bring your reusable water bottle to use while at ISB. There will be no plastic water bottles provided. There will be adequate access to water stations for hot and cold water refill.

On Days 2 we will be placing nametag recycling baskets on the CLC Welcome Desk. If you wish to recycle your nametag, please drop it in the basket on your way out of the building.

VISA TO CHINA
Non-Chinese Attendees from outside China should acquire the appropriate visa from the nearest Chinese embassy or Consulate. Please e-mail sgonzales@isb.bj.edu.cn if you need a visa letter. Visa letters are available 48 hours after the request is received.
AIRPORT INFORMATION
There are two big airports in Beijing for international travel. The Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and the Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX). The ISB CLC partner hotel - Crowne Plaza Beijing International Airport Hotel and the International School of Beijing are both closer to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).
GETTING AROUND BEIJING
The Beijing Subway is an excellent option as it is the quickest and cheapest way to get around the city. However, it can be crowded during peak hours, so it's best to avoid those times if possible.
For all those who do not have the Didi 滴滴出行 App (the Chinese version of Uber), It would be best to download this app and register before you arrive in Beijing. Getting registered is pretty straight forward. You’ll need a phone number, a bank card (you can link your WeChat, or Alipay 支付宝 account to pay), and your passport number. Registering should take you only a few minutes. The Didi 滴滴出行 App can be in English or Chinese.
